Adopt
Ruffn It

So today, hoping to help Indy past her shyness, and just to have a little fun, I took Indy to the Greene Valley park/forest preserve area. It’s generally a nice, permit-only, off-lease area about 15 minutes from our house. It also has a few miles of trails that you can hike, run, etc.
We met Cloudy there.
It is possible that you have noticed that Cloudy is not a Swissy. He is actually a beautiful Husky that is available for adoption through Adopt a Husky. If we didn’t already have 4 dogs, it’s possible I would have allowed him to “follow me home” in the back of my SUV.
Here’s another look at Cloudy, for those of you who KNOW you want to adopt him.
Here are a few other pictures of the event and dogs.
Some day I’d like to hook Indy and Gryffin up to one of these.
Here is a sweet Saint Bernard/Golden mix and his humans.
A beautiful Brindle Dane. I witnessed them get asked where the saddle was several times.
And finally, a beautiful mutt puppy available for adoption through Magnificent Mutts.
I really had been hoping this event would be larger. I went with the intention of speaking with a group about sled dogs and skijoring, but the man who was there ignored me while the lady who was with him sat on her cell phone. Perhaps another time.
