Training for Pack Hikes

I hope to get Indy on a long walk this weekend. As in more than 6 miles. I was able to take her on a few long walks during my vacation week, and 1 was 6 miles long. But this weekend, as luck would have it, the weather will suck. We’ll have rain on Saturday and *gasp* snow on Sunday! This means that I need to find an urban/pathed route instead of the nicely marked path at Waterfall Glen. Woe is me. That’s a lot of work. I will use mapmyrun.com, I guess, and find a way to add a few miles to my old 4 mile run.
So on Sunday morning, when you’re all warm and cuddled in your bed or on the couch with your dogs, think of me. I’ll be outside hiking. And it won’t be warm.
