Gryffin is a good boy…

Last night was Gryffin’s first “official” obedience class in over 5 years. He is generally pretty obedient dog at home, so I thought he would do OK. But other than the whole stand command (and staying in a stand for many minutes), he did great!
The stand was funny. When I would bend a bit to try and get him in the correct position, he would jump and try and lick me. It was apparently a funny joke to play on me. I did end up getting him to keep a stand, but when I go to the return position (even today), he sits. Silly dog.
So I have made the decision to go for his CD. I’m going to start in a couple of fun matches to get the hang of it, but am actively looking for something March or April for him now to get a leg towards it.
